Hard wax for bikinis, brazilians and underarms

Waxing is a great choice for hair removal because it can grab thin, vellus hairs all the way to the most coarse hairs.

We chose the wax that is best for your skin based on skin condition and the area being waxed.

Generally soft wax (the white one) is used on large area like the legs and back. Where hard wax (the purple one) is used on the more sensitive areas and with coarse hairs like the underarms and Brazilian area.

WHY SHOULD I WAX VS. SHAVE?

Waxing done consistently will change your hair! It will come in sparser, finer & slower the longer you stick with it. Shaving cuts off the hair leaving stubble & feels prickly when growing in. It also can cause skin sensitivity & increase ingrowns. Plus, it doesn't change the thickness or quantity of hair.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR WAXING?

Let it grow! Exfoliate a few times a week. Moisturize daily. No tanning 24 hours before/after. Let us know about any topical products that contain retinols/AHAs and all medications. Take a deep breath. We have seen it all, we don't judge & we promise to be professional, efficient & thorough making conversation to distract.

HOW LONG DOES HAIR NEED TO BE FOR WAXING?

Hair needs to be 1/4-1/2 inch for best waxing results. Typically this is at least 2 weeks from last shave. 3 weeks growth is the most optimal for a first time wax.

HOW LONG WILL I BE HAIR-FREE AFTER MY WAX?

This varies depending on the area waxed but you can expect to be hair-free for a minimum of 1-2 weeks. Underarms typically have a few hairs coming back week 2, Brazilians typically it will be week 3. New hairs are just that, new! So they have a soft tip & do not feel like stubble coming in.

DOES IT HURT TO GET A WAX?

Everyone's pain tolerance is different. Most clients chat with us like we are out having coffee. But, let's be honest, we are pulling hair out from it's root. And you feel a short, stinging sensation after each pull. The good news is, it's short-lived discomfort. When you leave you have had a soothing cream applied & your skin is so smooth. If you are consistent with your waxing the discomfort is greatly reduced too because there is less hair & thinner hair
