Smooth skin, less irritation, and more time back in your day—yes, please.
Laser hair removal not only reduces unwanted hair, but it also helps eliminate irritation like bumps, itching, and razor burn. And the best part? No more endless shaving or waxing cycles—you’ll save serious time.
Here’s how it works:
A laser emits light that’s absorbed by the pigment in your hair. That light turns into heat, which damages the follicles responsible for growing new hairs. Over time, this slows or completely stops regrowth. In short, it zaps those hair-making troublemakers at the root.
Worried about discomfort? Don’t be. Our technology uses crystal freeze cooling to soothe your skin as the laser does its job, making treatments surprisingly comfortable.
What to expect:
Yes—you’ll need a consult before starting laser. But that’s only because we want you to be safe and happy with your results. We know you are sick of that hair. but you need to know the ins and outs of laser hair removal before you jump in. We need to ensure, based on your medical history, that it is safe for you to get laser hair removal. When expectations are clear and all questions are answered you will be a more satisfied customer. During your consult, we’ll go over your medical history, answer your questions, and make sure laser is the right choice for you.
Good news: the consult fee goes toward your first treatment.
Pro tip: Shave the day before and let us know when you book—we can start your series the same day!
Think of the laser like a heat-seeking missile—but instead of bad guys, it’s going after your hair follicles. The light targets the pigment, travels down to the root, and damages the follicle so it can’t grow new hair. Only hairs in their active growth phase (anagen) can be destroyed during a session. Those hairs will start to fall out and the roots that have been destroyed in that session will never produce another hair. Hair that wasn’t in the active growth stage will be treated in subsequent sessions leaving you with less and less hair.
Laser is a process—not a one-and-done. Most people need around 6–8 treatments spaced out:
After that, occasional touch-ups may be needed (every 6 months or so) keep things smooth.
Does it hurt? Most clients say it feels like a quick rubber band snap. Thanks to crystal freeze cooling technology, your skin stays chilled at 41°F while we treat, which makes the process way more comfortable. Bonus: it’s faster and often easier than waxing or sugaring!
✔ Works on all skin tones (from very fair to deep brown—we’ll find your setting on the Fitzpatrick scale).
✔ Works best on dark hair.
✘ Doesn’t work on blonde, red, or gray hair (for that, we recommend waxing or sugaring).
For people with PCOS, laser hair removal is a game-changer. It targets hair follicles directly to reduce the density and thickness of unwanted hair in areas like the face, chest, back, and lower abdomen. By breaking the cycle of shaving, waxing, or tweezing, laser minimizes irritation, bumps, and ingrown hairs. Laser treatments also save time and stress, gradually reducing hair growth so daily grooming is easier and confidence rises. With PCOS the body creates new hair follicles more than someone without PCOS due to hormones. The laser slows growth significantly, offering long-term results and much less frequent hair removal compared to traditional methods. It will not just be 6-8 sessions, but rather, a series of sessions and then maintenance series in the future when those new hair follicles rear their heads. Bonus: We offer a lower price for sessions 9+.
Redness, tingling, or tiny heat bumps are common right after treatment—usually gone within hours. A little itching days later as hair sheds? Totally normal. More serious side effects are rare and can be avoided by following aftercare (like no tanning before/after sessions).
Laser isn’t safe for everyone. You’ll need to wait or choose another option if you’re pregnant, recently gave birth, are on certain medications (acne, anticoagulants, those that make you sensitive to light), or have conditions like eczema (in the area), epilepsy, herpes, lupus, or vitiligo. We can work around tattoos, but not over them.

The laser uses a light beam to target the pigment (melanin) in the hair. This creates heat which travels down the hair shaft, damaging the hair follicle and destroying its growth. Surrounding tissue is not damaged. Hair has three stages of growth and all hair in the active stage at the time of treatment will be destroyed. The hair will slowly start to fall out and the roots that have been destroyed in that session will not produce another hair.
This be be discussed further during your consult. Treatment is conducted every 2-4 weeks on the face, and 4-8 weeks on the body. The required number of treatments varies, but usually 6-8 are needed for optimum results. Following that, touch-up treatments are required for most clients: typically 1 treatment, 6 months after a course, and then another 6 months following that. This is because a percentage of hair on your body will be dormant throughout your laser sessions and therefore will not be hit with the laser.
The laser can only kill the hairs that are being actively fed by your body (in the anagen phase). Since your hairs are in different stages of their growth cycle, not all are being fed at once. Each time you come in we get new hairs that have entered the optimal growth stage.. They say patience is a virtue.
Yes, after your hair has grown for a month after hair removal. No reason to pay for laser without hairs that can be treated!
Nothing is perfect. The Laser included. It sees dark hairs really well. If you have brown or black hair the laser is for you. But the laser does NOT work on red, blonde or grey hair, it just does not see them.
Yes! We will find where you lie on the Fitzpatrick Scale (technical way to determine your skin tone) during your consultation. This will determine what setting the laser can safely be set on for your treatments. We can laser skin that is very pale all the way to a rich, deep brown.
The laser has a built in freeze technology, so the treated skin area is cooled down to 41 Fahrenheit. The treatment is not painful. However in some sensitive areas the treatment can feel like an elastic band snapping against the skin. The good news is, it is faster and feels better than waxing/sugaring.
After each Laser Hair Removal treatment, you are likely to experience some redness, tingling and possibly some heat bumps on the treatment area. This is a sign of a successful treatment and usually subsides within a few hours. A few people experience itching some days later as the hair is pushed out. Stronger reactions are rare, but side effects can include blistering and hyper/hypopigmentation. This risk is greatly reduced when clients follow aftercare instructions and do not tan prior to and after treatments.
