Come join the team at BRAZILIANS & BROWS. We are a private studio dedicated to hair removal and bringing smooth confidence to our guests. Our goal is to take away the stress that comes with hair removal and put guests at ease. We do this with conversation, up-beat, fun attitudes and education. We promise each guest that we will be professional, efficient and thorough. No gossip or drama, we focus on the positive here. 

As an employee you will not have to take work home with you. No calls/text/emails at all hours, no ordering, no creating a website or marketing with facebook, instagram, etc. Just come in, wax while meeting some great people and go home. 

Serious inquiries only please. Looking for someone driven to succeed and willing to put in the effort to learn. You have to LOVE waxing/sugaring. Some evenings and Saturdays required.

To ensure consistency in our services and culture there will be a 90 day probationary period. 

Requirements

License in Esthetics or Cosmetology

Body and facial Waxing experience preferred

Comfortable/wiling to learn Brazilian wax/sugar on both female and male clients

Proof of Professional Liability Insurance

Compensation

First 90 days

Hourly employee + 10% commission on retail sales + tips

After 90 days

Based on performance during 90 days + sliding scale sales commission

Monday 10:00-7:00

Tuesdays 10:00-7:00

Wednesday 10:00am-7:00pm

Thursday 10:00am-7:00pm

Friday 10:00am-7:00pm

Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm

After 90 days

2 evenings until 7:00pm Monday-Friday

Saturdays (can take one off per month)

Final schedule to be determined together at end of probationary period. 

Expectations

During 90 day probationary period you will be expected to:

• Get a feel for the culture
• Learn protocols for front desk operations
• Learn the booking software though demonstration and video
• Learn protocols for all waxing services through written protocols, demonstrations and practice on models
• Learn basic principles of sugaring through training manuals, discussion, demonstration and practice on models
• Familiarize yourself with homecare product benefits, uses and primary ingredients
• prepare your treatment room for the day
• check in guests, perform services,
• educate guest on homecare, what to expect after the service and frequency of visit for best results
• check out/ring up guests
• schedule guest
• disinfect between services
• keep the common spaces clean
• assist with before/after photos, service videos

After 90 days:

• Independently handle entire client experience from greeting to checkout
• Independently open and close the shop
• Be proficient in all waxing service protocols
• Have good beginning understanding/skills in sugaring
